NOTICE OF FUNDS AVAILABILITY

Health and Social Services Consortium, Inc. (HESSCO Elder Services) announces the availability of funds to operate social service program for the elderly in South Norfolk County in accordance with the provisions of the Older Americans Act of 1965 as amended in 2000.

Grants will be awarded for the period of October 1, 2008 through September 30, 2011. The Elderly Nutrition Program contract is for a 3 year period and will be renewed for 2 additional one year periods pending satisfactory performance.

Elderly Nutrition Program: The preparation and delivery daily to 13 sites of approximately 800 hot bulk meals, 20 supper meals, 50 frozen meals per week, as well as, holiday and special event meals.

Any party interested in bidding on this program must submit a Letter of Intent to HESSCO Elder Services, Inc., One Merchant Street, Sharon, MA 02067-1662 by May 8th, 2008. A mandatory bidder’s conference will be held on May 13th, 2008 at 1:00 pm to answer questions and distribute applications. Sealed proposals will be accepted until 12:00 noon on June 2, 2008. Applications received after 12 noon on June 2nd, 2008 will not be considered. Incomplete, improperly endorsed or FAXED applications will be rejected.

HESSCO Elder Services, Inc. reserves the right to reject any and all proposals if it determines such a refusal is in the public interest.
